Here’s the thing about most heaters. They warm the air, sure, but they also suck every bit of moisture out of the room. The whole idea is to deliver serious warmth without turning your space into a desert. How? We ditched the old way of heating the air. Instead, we use infrared halogen. It sends heat directly to people and objects, skipping the air altogether. So the warmth hits you where you need it, and the humidity stays right where it should.
What’s Under the Hood: Power, Voltage, and a Tiny Footprint
At the center of it all is a high-density halogen element, tucked inside a compact quartz tube. Depending on what you need, we set these heaters to run on 220-240V or 400V. A standard 400V, 2500W unit throws out focused heat, right away. And it’s small—just 300mm of active heating length. That means you can slip it into tight spots where a big, bulky convection heater would never fit. But with that kind of power comes a catch. You need a cooling system that’s up to the job, to handle the extra heat around the unit.
Why Quartz? And Why It Matters
The quartz tube is the heart of the system. It’s tough enough to handle the sudden shock of switching on and off without cracking. And the halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, so the heat stays steady and reliable over time. We also use an R7s connector. It’s a double-ended base that gives you a solid, high-current connection. It’s easy to wire and easy to service, which is a big deal in industrial spaces where things vibrate and maintenance is a regular part of the day.
