The Power Behind It
Here’s the thing: it’s small, but it’s serious. We designed it to pack a lot of heat into a tiny footprint. It runs on industrial power—typically 400V—so it can push high wattage through a compact form. The heat comes from a 300mm tube, which means you get a lot of output from a short bar. That keeps the unit light and easy to mount. But it also means the electrical side needs a solid setup. Plan for proper fusing and good thermal management in the control cabinet.
Materials and Build
Inside, you’ll find a halogen-filled quartz tube. It responds fast and holds output steady. The shortwave element heats up quickly, so you hit your setpoint without waiting around. The tube is coated to manage the output spectrum and keep the element protected, even in harsh environments. For connections, we went with R7s connectors. They handle high temperatures, and they make the lamp a simple drop-in replacement. The wall bracket is straightforward to wire and secure, so installation stays quick.
Where It Shines
This heater isn’t about comfort. It’s for engineers who need process heat—spot heating, curing zones, drying stations—where moving air would ruin the work.
